Beef Stroganoff…

beef stroganoffIngredients: 

  • 1/2 kilo beef Tenderloin, strips cut 
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream ( or you can also mix 1 cup evaporated milk and 1 tablespoon calamansi juice)
  • 1/4 teaspoon refined salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Procedure:

  1. Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a medium saucepan. Stir fry beef & remove from the pan.
  2. Heat remaining 1 tablespoon of butter in a saucepan. Saute onion, garlic and mushroom. Add on the beef broth until cooked. 
  3. Mix the meat to saucepan. Cover and cook on low for 10 minutes; stir in sour cream and heat through but do not boil. 
  4. Ready to serve with hot rice.

    either you buy beef broth in the market or boil the beef and get the broth from there. :-)
